Dr Yaj Chetty is a general practitioner living in Cape Town, a civil society activist in the fields of new economic thinking and monetary reform. One of the early members of the former economics think-tank SANE (South African New Economics Network) founded by the late economist Margaret Legum and the late Art Rouwkens De Lange.
