Dr Yabome Gilpin-Jackson is a social scientist, consultant, academic, writer, and curator of African identity and leadership stories. She is Lead Editor for the We Will Lead Africa project, an edited volume about everyday African leadership supporting the progress of the continent that will be published in 2017. She has presented on and taught about African Leadership: Now and for the Future. This work is published in the book that resulted from the 3rd biennial Kwame Nkrumah International Conference; Re-engaging the African Diasporas: Pan-Africanism in the Age of Globalisation.
Yabome has most recently spoken on the issue of global African Identities, which led to her writing and publishing a short story collection titled, Identities. Yabome consults, teaches, speaks, does research and writes in the field of Leadership and Organisational Change/Development and Social Change, especially related to Africa. She holds a doctorate in Human and Organisation Development from Fielding Graduate University and an Executive Certificate in International Development from McGill University.
