Ntando PZ Mbatha was born and bred in Ladysmith/Emnambithi, a town in Northern KwaZulu Natal. She holds a Master’s degree in History and currently works as a heritage coordinator for the Department of Sport Arts Culture and Recreation. Ntando is very passionate about issues surrounding women and have since started a blog titled – A voice to the voiceless – http://nthandz09.wordpress.com.
She writes in her spare time and continue to do academic work.
In addition, she has also started documenting the history of Steadville, a township in Emnambithi to fill the knowledge gap in the telling of the history of SA.
