Prof Willie Tafadzwa Chinyamurindi is an NRF Rated Researcher (Y2) and an Associate Professor within the Department of Business Management at the University of Fort Hare.

He also serves as the Research Niche Area Leader within the Faculty of Management and Commerce at the same university. His research interests broadly are within human capital development, career management and the use of qualitative methodology within the management sciences.

Willie is also an avid user of technology within teaching practice. He has presented at local and international conferences. He also continues to publish in local and international journals. He supervises honours, masters and PhD students at the University of Fort Hare, Durban University of Technology, Nelson Mandela University and also MANCOSA.

He has presented over 30 conference papers at various local and international venues generated. Willie received his PhD in 2012 in the United Kingdom with the Open University Business School in Milton Keynes. His PhD focussed on the use of narratives and stories in understanding the career development processes of previously disadvantaged individuals in South Africa. In his spare time, Willie is an avid photographer, blogger and cricketer. @chinyaz
